about.
Numbers, numbers, numbers.
Communicating quantitative insight can fail for reasons that have nothing to do with the numbers. Great quantitative writers like Steven Strogatz, Nassim Nicholas Taleb and John Allen Paulos use approachable, clean writing make mathematical insight resonate. They avoid the trap of intimidating readers with jargon and unwieldy arguments.
I have worked with many powerful management tools critical for business decision-making, yet rarely are the tools presented in such a manner. Why isn’t good writing the dominant approach used in sharing quantitative insight in the business world?
“There will be numbers.”
This website uses short writings to detail management tools, business analysis techniques and reference materials that are potentially useful to all readers. While the material is unapologetically quantitative, the clean delivery of material should in theory free up time and energy for readers to work with the tools themselves.
And that’s the fun part.
